"Nice try Mr. Baron," Tobias said, this time not faking his laugh. Yes, at times Andrew was a, well, whats the nice word for it, ass, he right now did not seem to be that at all. "And what of you Andrew? I havent heard much about you except your drinking, your facination with women, and your persistant nagging on Sienna."

"Welll, my habits besides those? Those do take up much time, you must understand," here he laughed again and he glanced at Sienna, whom he shot a secretive, detestful glance upon. "And it is so much fun to tease Sienna." He winked at her, and then turned back to Tobias, where he began to explain himself. "I like having money. I like reading and conversing with men of nobility...And I like the hunt....."

"Ah the tributes of a gentleman, even one such as vampiric as yourself," Tobias said. "The hunt? You enjoy stalking down these foolish mortals?"

"It can be a sport if you're jaded enough with its simplicities," Andrew replied truthfully, his mind drifting to the last man he had killed, followed in the shadows until the man would nearly go mad from his fear, and then.... A gentleman. His thoughts returned to Tobias. A gentleman! Well, perhaps Tobias wasn't so bad after all. "Perhaps we should go hunting sometime."

And Sienna looked away as he again glanced at her, choosing to quite obviously ignore the wink and instead fiddle with the glass in her hand. He was detestful, sometimes, that man. "Andrew merely enjoys taking advantage of the poor women who have the misfortune of being drawn to him before getting his fill. Far more satisfying, isn't it, Andrew?" she asked coldly, eyeing him as if awaiting a response.

"Yes, Sienna, far more satisfying than loud mouthed women who say too much of what is on their mind," snapped back Andrew, irked by her presence immensly.

Oh, he was infuriating. And surely she was as well. Half of the time he offered her lustful glances and suggestive comments, and the rest of the time he glared angrily at her and told her how much of a pain she was. And her eyes sparkeld as she thought on his reaction ot her words, and a grim yet pleased smile graced her lips. "Oh, you prefer your women vocal in another way," she commented, having had the misfortune of passing the man's room on more than one occassion whilst he "entertained" a young maiden.

"Calm down you two," Tobias said, getting up from his chair, standing between them in case he needed to break up any argument

"Yes!" spat Andrew, standing to his feet, but not violently, it was gently and in no way spontaneous, as he crossed the room to stoke the fire, brushing closely past the arm of Sienna's chair to reach the fire pokers. "I do, as a matter of fact. I won't deny it."

And his comment repulsed her slightly, though she had rather expected it. It was the ease with which he admitted it. "And a common whore, is of course, quite satisfactory to you, for she will do whatever you desire even if she feels nothing simply because she expects payment," she smirked, eyes following his form as he barely brushed by.

Andrew: that's it sienna, your eyes followed my form.
"No, no, no!" corrected Andrew, "Although I do find this a sensitive subject to discuss with such an innocent woman! A common whore? Very rare! Most women will do whatever I desire them to simply because I ask. It is a fact, Sienna."

"So you're telling me these girls that I find you with only look as though they are common whores? Do you dress them all similarly tacky becase it is a turn on of yours, perhaps?" she asked, eyes flashing and a smirk playing on her lips.

"I think Im going to go upstairs," Tobias said, quite quitely. "I'll leave you two alone."

Sienna's gaze turned to Tobias, who seemed quite unhappy with the conversation. "Oh Tobias, we don;t wish for you to leave!" she said, her tone of voice changing from one of grim satisfaction to a far more cheerful tone. With a laugh she rose and swept by Andrew wordlessly, drawing closer to Tobias. "You're honestly going to leave me alone with him?" she asked, smiling slightly, jesting only partly.

"No," he said quietly, hoping Andrew was not listening. "I was trying to get you to come over here so I could get you away from him. Let him cool down, I htink the brandy is getting to him."

"You make me blush, Sienna," replied Andrew rather sourly as he glanced back at Tobias. "They are dressed in these ways because you happen to glimpse them all out of the clothes they arrive in and in their langerie. I am sure that you own similarly tacky langerie. Besides, the last woman I brought to my room was a nobleman's daughter. Everything lavish, nothing tacky for her.
Besides, I know Tobias, being the gentleman that he is, would wish that you, as a woman, would not mention such things.
So shall we speak of something finer?"

"I think we should stop talking about this whole subject alltogether." Tobias said, his comments directed towards Andrew. "No one needs to know what state of affairs goes on behind the door to your room. That mean what women go in there, what they wear, what you and they do. Nothing. I would like to spare Sienna's and my own mind from that kind of mental trauma."

"The snake of jealousy," tutted Andrew jokingly, reaching across the table to relight a candle that had gone out from a sudden chilled draft. It was awfully cold in there, despite the blazing fire, and so Andrew wrapped his coat further about his shoulders. "So? Shall we dine? There is a lovely roast of a Canturbury farmhand o'er the wood stove." And he rose to his feet, motioning the others to follow him through the spacious and elaborately ornate parlor to the possibly even more dramatic dining room.

"Jealousy?" Tobias retorted, shocked. "You find me to be jealous of your running rampant around this house with whorish women each and every night. Im not like you Andrew. I dont need that to sustain me, as I see you do."

"I was only joking with you, my friend!" shot back Andrew, his eyes glittering with amusement at this display of shock. His footsteps echoed in the hall as he walked. When he had placed the roast upon the table (as their mortal maid and cook had already returned home), he gave a grim smile. As he seated himself, he stated softly, venemously, yet seemingly without defense, "I know you think yourself the better man, and that is fine, Tobias. I do not mind."
