It wasnt like he meant it or anything. The kid's book just so happened to be strewn in the middle of the lake. And it is not like the 4th year couldnt get it back. They were all magical you know. "Next time, dont try to say you're smarter than someone, especially when that someone is a seventh year," the male said to the smaller being in the vicinity. As does usually happen, a small crowd appeared at the sight of the commotion, some of them just bystanders, others, mostly the others, the members of the Sirius Black fan club. Could you call a gaggle of squeeling, teenage, hormonal girls a fan club?
"OMIGODSIRIUS!"
Yeah, I think you can. Sirius looked at the ladies, and after gathering up his belongings, gave a subtle wink in their direction before walking most casually towards the usual meeting spot of his fellow friends, who had already seemed to be waiting.

(hey robby. that is kind of like what happened the other day with that twelve year old. hahahahhaha. gosh, you guys are STUPID! ahahha. i just laughed so freaking hard.)
The overgrown brush hung down about him in thick and spindly curls. Through them, in his spot beneath the tree, Peter could just see the outline of Sirius by the waterside, impressing a group of girls. It came naturally to him, the way he winked and spoke. Peter had tried a hundred times or so to master that charming glance in the mirror, but he never managed to look more than just a ridiculous version of his former self.
Peter placed the book he had been skimming into his lap. He hadn't cared much for it, but it was manditory for one of his classes. What did it matter if he read it, he thought to himself, He couldn't understand it anyway. "Hey, Sirius!" He called over. "Over here!" He waved his arms like a little pipsqueak mouse attempting to be heard by the large, alley rat. He was bored out of his mind, and a little company, well, he would not have minded it. He was hoping to himself that Sirius would bring one of the members of his fanclub over.
That's it. The one with the chesnut hair down to her waist. Her. Peter had been staring at her curves throughout the entire ordeal, and she was not attempting to take Sirius' arm. Maybe, like rare other occasions, she'd consider Peter as a sort of Sirius-by-association. Ah well, and if no girls came, then Sirius was good enough. It still amazed Peter that since his first year he had been allowed near the most popular group in the entire school- and in fact been allowed to be apart of it- on the fringes, but apart of it!
He was overjoyed by it, in fact. And even at his 7th year, he still had those moments of absolute surprise creeping up on him, reminding him that he came from nothing.
"Sirius!!!!!!!" he called again.

What a choice: Leaving the lovely company of the ladies that seemed to flock to his side, or go and hang out with a fellow friend that pretty much wants to be Sirius himself.
A look at the ladies, then a look over at the waving, almost hysteric Peter.
Oh the decisons.
"So, ladies, I will, uh, be right back," Sirius said with a promising smile, then ran off in Peter's direction.
"Wormtail, what is so important that you draw me away from my ladyfolk?"

Peter tinted pink in his cheeks at Sirius' reply, but he decided to take the opportunity. With a joking air, he laughed, "Sirius, I wasn't trying to draw you away from them, I was trying to get you to draw them over here....I like the one on the right."

Sirius was quick to supress a laugh. He couldnt bring his friend down.
"You're lucky you have me Peter, I think I can help you in this situation. Heres the rundown: The one on the right, chesnut hair, yes? Thats Rebecca. Ill get her over here. You do your best to not screw up. And you can thank me later." Sirius replied, taking his hand, giving Peter a pat on the shoulder.
He stood up, ran his hand though his hair, and walked back to the ladies. "I think I have a friend I want you to meet," he said to the chesnut haired girl.

(Sirius is an asshole. I just thought I'd lay that out. An absolute asshole.)
"Rebecca," repeated Peter, listening closely like a football player learning to cheat from a coach. "Got it. Don't worry, I won't let you down, Sirius." When Sirius had left to approach the girl, Peter sat there, twiddling his thumbs, flipping his book upside down, backwards, left, right, anything to keep himself busy. Girls made him nervous, but he loved them. He could not stop staring at Rebecca, and the idea of her with him- seemingly impossible? He sighed. Well, take every chance you can get.

ooc: no he's not. hes a young immature idiot. who is just trying to help a friend. dont worry, peter will get the girl. sirius will make sure)
Sirius took the girl by the arm and led her over to the tree under which Peter sat, looking very, nervous. Good thing the girl was too involved in staring at Sirius to notice, but he was giving her nothing, not even the time of day.
"Rebecca, this is Peter, Peter, this is Rebecca." Sirius said, introducing the two. "Now you two talk a bit, ill stand right over here..
"Go get her tiger," he said aside to Peter

ooc: ahahhah. i know. i trust. lol. (gosh how come i cant defend andrew like that? ? ) "Thanks, Sirius," Peter whispered. It paid off in so many aspects to be a marauder. Give and take. Give and take. And it was moments like this that Peter found taking to be a fantastic element. He gazed open mouthed at her, attracted to her. Peter found himself thinking about more than just talking rather quickly... "R-Rebecca?" he stuttered. She was not so much beautiful as she was cute, perky, pretty in many ways. Her hair shimmered and curled at the ends, and that attracted him, most certainly. Maybe it was the smile. He wasn't quite sure. All he knew was that he was glad he'd asked Sirius for the help.

ooc: im guessing ill be rebecca? but i know how i can do it. bic:
Sirius stood a ways away, but still was able to hear the conversation that was going on between Peter and Rebecca. He heard her introduce herself, seeming shy. Peter would be fine. They seemed to be the same exact. Perfect for one another. Sirius waited to hear what Peter would do next

Peter wasn't charming. He was just an average guy, if not a less than average guy. That was why his kept wiping his palms on his jeans, just trying to keep the sweat from taking over his hands. He was fortunate enough to keep his usual trembling at bay, however, and he managed to through a flirting glance or two toward her. A few more minutes of talking, and all Peter coul dthink of doing was putting his hand on her knee. Just on her knee- He hesitated. No. Not yet? Throwing a side glance at Sirius, he wanted to shout 'when?' when he finally decided to just do it. Bite your lip, Pettigrew, and charm her! So there he decided first to take her hand in his, and then he let his hand brush (perhaps a prolonged brush) against her knee.

Sirius saw the pained look from Peter, and knew what was coming. He couldnt help smacking his head when he saw Peter brush his hand against her knee.
But the slap that usually resulted from most girls did not happen. Just a giggle.
"No way," Sirius thought.

ooc: hahhahhaa.
When Rebecca giggled, Peter's smile lifted. His palms stopped sweating and he suddenly felt more at ease with her, instead of tensed and self-concious. He further talked with her, leaned closer with every sentence. And every so often that had would go up a few inches further than her knee. Peter hadn't been keeping track of what they were talking about. That hadn't mattered to him. He was too busy looking at her, impressed with the lack of the usual difficulty in this situation.

"Peter, stop it with the knee thing," Sirius said aloud, even though he knew Peter couldnt hear him. He would need like, telepathic powers for that. But he was only a wizard.
Sirius looked on and saw that the two seemed to be going alright. "My work here is done," he said
