Well well no one adds so i have been working with this romance thing. Quite hard to write about i must seeing that none of my character posses this romance. But, here is a part on to my three part "Winter's Romance?"
She was a beautiful young lass, in her mid twenties. Her hair was a strawberry red and shimmered in the summer sun. She was in a very modest outfit, a long blue travelers robe with some well worn boots. For the past few years of her life she had graced the doors of her local Pub. The past few days have been strange for her as she had taken notice that a newcomer had been in the pub at the same time she was. She was not bothered by this man rather she was drawn to him. His seclusion in the pub made her very interested in why he was here and what he did to get to this point. Today she sat at a table and stole a few glances at the man. Every now and then she would notice his eyes move her way and she would blush and turn away. When the night was over and the man retired to him quarters above the pub Melfina walked over to the tender and begun to inquire about the man. She walked quietly over and sat at the stool closest to the wall and ordered a half pint. “So, how are you today William” William was the old grizzly tender, he was tall and gaunt his hair was thinning and turning a cloudy white. “I am doing fine” William said gentle caressing a mug. He raised his eye brow at Melfina “I couldn’t help but notice that you were staring at that new guy.” Melfina felt a little embarrassed her cheeks turned a rosy read “Well I am just interested, he seems so mysterious.” William placed a half pint under a keg that he was using as a tab “He mutters a little bit here and there when he came in about a week ago all he said was that he was passing through.” He paused “he had an interesting name Winter.” Melfina quickly followed William’s words “Winter? What a funny name, he is named after a season.” William gave Melfina her drink “I assume you want to know more about Winter but I can’t say I know anymore.” He gave a slight chuckle “You’re going to have to overcome that shyness and ask for yourself.” She took a long sip of her half pint “thank you” Immediately she began planning about meeting him tomorrow. Millions of scenarios ran through her head. Each played out with it happy ending, with the words ‘and they lived happily ever after’. She felt an intense rush of emotions. Once Melfina noticed this she stopped herself “Gosh, I don’t think I am going to be moving that fast.” When it hit nine she had begun to make her out of the pub. But she had the sudden urge to go up stairs and talk Winter; she wanted to see him so bad. But, she resisted her urge and made for her home. Before she turned the block towards her home she looked back at the second floor of the pub wanting to see Winter in one of the windows before she could turn around she bumped into to a man in a cloak. She instantly fell to the floor with the silhouette of the man over her. She looked up in dazed confusion. The man just stood there looking at her. He then offered his hand to her which she took quickly. It was cold like touching the midnight sky on a freezing winter night. The arm yanked her right to her feet. She was mortified she couldn’t believe that she was so oblivious of her surroundings. In a low and direct tone the man said “are you ok madam?” Melfina was still trying to regain her posture and composure she quickly retorted “yes I am fine, I am ok. I am so sorry I didn’t mean to…” “As long as you are Ok madam I am fine, I am sorry for scaring you like that.” Melfina’s thoughts quickly changed from the mysterious Winter to the man in front of her. So calm, so collective, he was wearing a black cloak which covered his formal attire. She couldn’t help but ask “I have yet to see you about town who might you be?” The man paused a bit keeping a quite demeanor “my name? I am Winter” in a slight outburst Melfina spoke “You’re Winter I thought you were in your…”

“You’re Winter I thought you were in your…”
These words made the hairs on the back of Winters back rise. What did she know about him? Why did she know he was supposed to be in his room above the pub? Did she know what he was? Winter tensed up. “Madam…” before Winter could put in another word Melfina interfered “I am sorry I did not mean to seem too inquisitive. I think I said more then I should.” In the old days this was about when Winter would flee but he was thrown off guard by her remarks. Winter was startled he was back from a feeding session and now he was confronted by a local who knew about his presents and has been taking taps on him. Finally Winter spoke “Why have you been watching me?”
A long pause came after what winter said. Then Melfina blushed and looked away from Winter breaking eye contact for the first time. Winter observed this and felt the rush of blood going her veins. Melfina then looked Winter straight in the face “It’s…” Winter responded quickly “well?” He was becoming irritable at the awkwardness of the whole conversation “It’s… complicated.” Winter now was perplex at what Melfina was saying “what do you mean it’s complicated” at these words Winter moved closer to Melfina, they were eye to eye and Winter could feel the heart beat resonate through the cold night. “You’re just mysterious and it’s… attractive.”
This stunned Winter. He could never have anticipated this he could have never seen it coming. Winter had a blank stare on his face as if his mind went completely empty. Melfina broke the silence with a quick comment “I am really sorry I did not want to… I don’t know.” Winter shook his head he didn’t know what to think “No, No. It’s ok, don’t worry. It’s just I don’t see how you could be attracted to me, I mean you don’t even know me.” Melfina stood there a bit and her dress swayed back and forth in the midnight breeze. “well what is there to know?”
Although it seemed like a harmless question, to Winter it was anything but harmless. His past was a bit of a tragedy, and he didn’t really feel like letting any mortals know about his current state. He answered as coldly as possible “You don’t want to know my pass, let’s just leave it at that.” Melfina was now deeply embarrassed. Her face was as red as her hair “I am really sorry, I guess I should be heading home now.” Winter felt a sense of compassion for the poor girl. It seemed a huge let down for her. “least I could offer you madam is an escort to your house. You never know what monsters lurk at this time of night.” Melfina felt comfort in these words and nodded her head “thank you Winter.”

She thought to herself, well at least at get to walk home with him. She felt happy that he would take her into such consideration. She stood there for a moment deep in thought. “well?” Melfina looked up she didn’t even notice what Winter said. “well?” Winter spoke again; Melfina quickly answered “Well what?” Winter was walking a bit behind Melfina “where do you live?” She turned around and looked at Winter “I live just up the street and to the right. In a small house.” Winter was looking away at the ground to his right and kept walking “do you live alone Madam?” When Winter said this it occurred to Melfina that she never told Winter her name. This entire time she had been speaking his name but he not uttered her name once. She stopped and looked mortified “were are my manners, my name is miss. Melfina Gnirps. Pardon me for never saying my name Winter.” He just nodded his head a continued to walk “I don’t mind Melfina.” When they finally made it to the location of Melfina’s house she felt a deep hole in her heart. Winter was going to leave her now; he was going to go back to his room. This was the one chance she was going to have to speak to Winter and she felt that she had wasted it. Then as if God had answered all her wishes it began to rain. A slight grin came across her face. She turned around and saw to her dismay Winter walking away into the dark and cold rain. “WAIT!” Melfina’s words came out of her mouth without her even thinking. It was almost automatic. Winter looked over his shoulder at her. “I can’t let you walk home in the rain all alone, let me at least brew you a warm cup of tea.” Melfina came closer to Winter with each word and seized his hand.

Winter never felt hands so warm so soft. He was just about to make his leave when Melfina seized his hands. Melfina was confusing at best to Winter. He had never been approached by a human in such an away. Melfina knew nothing about him; She didn’t know that he was a vampire or that he was a slayer at a point in his life. She never knew how much of a monster he was and still is. Melfina begun to draw him into the home. Winter’s body just moved without any thought following her into the house. Inside Melfina sat Winter down at a small table that was decorated modestly. Winter looked at his surroundings. He felt uncomfortable; the layout of the small house seemed familiar. The décor was simple and humble. Winter got the feeling that Melfina lived alone. Melfina entered the room with two simple cups of Tea. She sat adjacent to Winter and watched Winter closely.
Winter took a sip of his tea. It was the first real warmth he had felt in years. The tea went down his throat and it felt so soothing to him. He closed his eyes in satisfaction.
“Earl Grey?” Winter asked
Melfina smiled and laughed “the finest in all of Britain.”
Winter took another sip “so do you live alone?” Melfina looked at him “well yes I use to live with my Mum and Dad on a farm up north but it was cold and I didn’t like it so I moved to this town. I was able to make a small bit of pounds working as a school teacher in the local boarding school” Winter looked at her. He wasn’t expecting a life story.
“what about you Winter where are you from” Winter lifted the tea to his lip. He was just about to take a sip when he quivered and halted his motion. He gave the question some consideration. “I am from London; I decided to travel the country side a little.” Outside the rain got harder, it was now noticeable and the two could hear the clapping of the rain on the roof. Winter could also see a few of flashed of lighting and the sound of roaring thunder in the distance. Winter was now stuck in the house for now. “gee it is really starting to pick up out there” Melfina exclaimed. Winter felt uneasy at this news “What am I going to do now” he said this in a low tone. Winter took another glance around the room. He didn’t like the vibe of the room it was making him think of the past. He could quite put a finger one what it was that he was taking of or what part of the past it reminded him of but he felt it deep and down in his core. It was showing on his face as well.
“Is there something wrong?” Winter snapped out his thoughts and his tea spilled all over his green jacket. “Oh I am sorry I didn’t mean to drift in thought.” Winter said quickly. Melfina got up and then moved to help Winter. “Are you ok does it burn?” Winter shook his head, “Its fine I am ok.” Winter got up and paced around the room to a couch on the other corner. “Winter, the storm really has picked up are you sure you want to go back in this weather?” Winter thought to himself a little. He wouldn’t mind staying the night. Melfina had a sort of warmth to her that drew him in. “I guess I could stay the night. Would you mind?”
