"Venice kicks Los Angeles' arse. Hmmhmmm. Yeah. What are you doing right now? No...? Shouldn't you be wearing clothes when I'm not there? So you- Wait, say that again, my service- DAMN"
Adrien slammed down the box in his hands onto the stone floor. Even after the place had been cleaned out, it hadn't been lived in since the coven first moved to Italy, so the dust became a permanent residence in the absence of humans.
Turning to Andrew with an expression of disbelief on his face, he motioned to another box across the room. "What, so you making me do all the heavy lifting by myself while you chat with your American girl?"
"That was actually the English girl," Andrew corrected with a smirk. "And there's a spider on your arm-"
Adrien rolled his eyes and tossed the little creature to the ground without any disgust, and then pointed to the box he'd set down. "You're not living here if you don't help move all these boxes in here."
"I don't like spiders," Andrew suggested calmly, his phone ringing again. "And the dust makes me sneeze-"
"I'm going to kick your prissy, brat ass, Andrew, if you don't put down your cellphone and help me!"
"I'm not prissy, and I'm not a brat," he complained with amusement. "Besides. When I was mortal, I didn't work as a farmhand like you did. You have so much more practice than I do- And you know what Adrien? I already made plans with Tobias."
"Plans with Tobias?" Adrien shrugged his shoulders. "So now both of you are ditching me with all the work? I don't remember him being that much of a jerk before-"
Andrew flipped open his phone and texted as quickly as he could
-Toby, if Adrien asks, we have plans.
Actually, let's go to the pub, or...chianti house or whatever they call it here-
"Gotta go, need a cigarette, what a shame," Andrew whistled to himself as he went to wait outside for Tobias. "Don't drop that box- that's my good wine-"
