Alright people. Since I know that this wont get started unless someone goes ahead and does it, I'm going to start it.
You know the usual rules.
-When talking out of charrie, use ooc -Try to give good posts, not just one word answers. I know all of you can give great posts, so lets see it -No powerplaying. Ask the person who's charrie you might need some control over first before just going and doing it. -Try to keep romances to a low. But god knows, that never happens on this here board. -Lets try to keep this a decent rating, so um, PG-13. yeah, that sounds about good. But we never follow that anyways. -Only the writers can end up killing their charries. No one else. So dont go planning before any action has happened. This is supposed to be playing off of others posts, lets keep it that way. I am going to make this extremely clear because apparantly it wasn't clear in the past--if you leave the board or the roleplay for any reason you give up all rights to that character in that particular roleplay especially if action must be taken in order for the roleplay to continue, and the person that your character was interacting with now has control of your character as well. By leaving the roleply you give up all rights to your character and what happens to him/her Just so we're VERY clear.
Most of all -HAVE FUN!
Reply with your Charrie name and then your intro. Only known Harry Potter characters in this rp. No made up's please.
Background:
Its the seventh year at Hogwarts, and even with the tragic events that happened last year, even with the death of Dumbledore and the return of Lord Voldemort, Hogwarts has chosen to remain open. But as always, a new year brings all new sorts of trouble for the charries that we know and love.

ooc: I'll take over Mr. Draco Malfoy thank ya very much.
“Move Granger!” a drawling male voice called from behind a bushy haired female standing before him. The owner of this voice, a tall, blonde-haired boy had not lost any patience with the girl he had yelled at, he just did not like her. Not in the very least. “Move,” he said, once more, pushing past her and elbowing her to the side, forcing her out of his way.
Draco Malfoy had always been known to be rather rough and tough, not taking any crap from anyone at all. And even was known to be rumored to be part of the Death Eaters. Well, rumor was more fact nowadays, but none but a few knew of that. The one credible source that could have blown his cover was dead, what a pity. Not. And the other, Potter, well, he wouldn’t tell a soul, so caught up in all his losses. Dumbledore, Sirius Black, and his long lost dead parents. So Draco had nothing to worry about. But in the present time, everyone, including Draco had things to worry about. Yes, Voldemort had come back, and yes, was gaining power by the moment. Yet the school was still up and in session, the lessons still being taught as chaos seemed to rain down around them. He hadn’t thought of coming back until he was told to.
“Get back to Hogwarts,” a cold, sneering voice said. “Yes, Lord Voldemort.” “You will be my insider, my spy. And keep an eye on Potter. Always keep on eye on Potter and his friends.” “Yes Master, I will”
“Filthy Mudblood,” he muttered as he past Granger.

{ooc.} Ginny=Mine. =D
{bic.} "No, NO!"
Furious voices came form inside the girl's dorm, sixth year dorm to be precise. Huffing a large sigh, a firey redheaded female blew through rhe door. "No!" she blew again. Another fight in the sixth year dorms? Yes; the girls in there had been having a probelm lately. Like she needed more problems anyways..
"Ginny, come ON!" another sixth year female, dirty blonde, raged as she ran through the door behind the smaller girl.
"NO!" Ginny, as the redhead had been deemed, shouted again and left quickly. With the other girl retreating back into the dormitory, most likely to reek havoc on something of Ginny's, Ginny bit at her bottom lip gently. Ginny found herself in the Gryffindor Common Room, plopping down into a puffy armchair, maroon coloured, fire cracking before her. Her gaze immediately drew to it, fire that crackled in the pit reflecting in the gloss of her mud brown orbs.
The small girl pulled her legs to her chest, robe falling beside her and off the edge of the couch, hanging above the wooden floors of the common room. With an aggrivated glint in her eyes, she pushed back a few strands of firey red hair, obviously a Weasley trademark, and stood up. Unable to sit still at the moment, she moved swiftly through rhe portrait hole, giving small smiles to familiar faces that passed her to enter the common room.
Gryffindor, of course, like all of her family before her. The brilliant red hair was certainly not the only thing to tell she was a Weasley. The light freckles over her face, landing herself in Gryffindor, the severe hate for Malfoys of any kind and, as mentioned many times previous, the red hair. If you don't see it; I'd either get checked or stop wasting your life with crack.
Quickly moving herself down the stairs, her dark trainers brought herself to the Entrance Hall. Turning her head from the large oak doors, those leading outside, to the tall doors to the Great Hall, she bit her bottom lip; undecided. Taking the food-involved option, she made her way into the Great Hall. Warmth and loud voices greeted her entrance, a grin tugging at each end of her lips, looking down the Gryffindor Table to find any familiar faces. Finding Neville and Dean, she quickly took a seat with the two, soon finding herself in a deep conversation about, well, anything. Her mind left any problems she had awhile ago, from Dumbledore to something as simple as her dorm mates, to dust as she talked.

Though the sun raged cold and clear outside, the dark halls of the castle still employed candles to shed some light on its' residents. Creaking suits of armor watched idly as students passed by, in a flurry of black robes and books. The calm before the storm, or more correctly, lunch. Hardly any students still milled about, save those who were late or sneaking off for a quiet hallway and a quick snog. Hermione Jane Granger was neither of these things. first off she was never late, and secondly she had no one to be going off with for a lunchtime snog(well, i beg to differ, but....)
No, no, she was on her way from the library, once again holding to her belief that studying was far more important than eating. Well, almost. She'd have to concede to her stomach, which was grumbling rather loudly. In fact she blamed her stomach for forcing her to stop her borderline obsessive study habits and actually make an appearance at lunch. Her footsteps echoed, lone and loud, against the stone passageway, two leather bound books clutched to her chest, a bag slung over her shoulder. Her brunette waves fell past her shoulders and came to rest neatly partway down her back, grown out over summer and just slightly lighter and more tamed, while her chocolate eyes skimmed over the text printed in impossibly small print.
"Move Granger!"
Well, so much for being alone. Or peaceful for that matter. A whole summer and still his voice rang shrilly through her ears. Of course, what was Hogwarts without the pureblood idiot constantly trying to start something? She had come to accept it, if not expect it. His voice, unfortunately, was also accompanied by his body. She spotted the sleek(in her opinion overly-gelled) blonde hair out of the corner of her eye and made it a point to walk more quickly. Too bad his shoulder connected with hers and shoved her off to the side, sending the two books flying to the floor with a rather loud clatter. "First off, Malfoy!" Hermione spat, already on edge due to lack of food, "That was completely unnecessary," which was true, for he could have easily slid past her with a good two feet of clearance, "and secondly, do you have absolutely nothing better to do than harrass anyone you could possibly find?"

"Actually, I think it was completely necessary," he replied back to her, eyes flashing with amusement. "You see, all of a sudden I saw a pixie flying at you, and well, I didnt want the pixie to get hurt by flying into a mudblood." Ah, thats the usual Draco. "And actually, I was on my way to lunch, so there are plenty of people in the hall to harass. I just say you and decided to see if I still had the skills within me. I feared I had lost them over the summer. Guess I was wrong."

His eyes flashed with amusement; hers flashed with anger. She knew that she was playing right into his game but didn't care; she was too hungry and distracted. "Malfoy, shut up," she warned, gathering her books, eyes never leaving him. "Go find someone else to bother."

"Ah, but Granger, dont you realize that it is so much fun to bother you?" Draco said, stepping over to where one of her books lay and picking it up. "Wow Granger, I didnt know that you were in such difficult classes. I also didnt know that you could read. I mean, isnt that a typical trait of mudbloods? Or monkeys? Whatever, same thing. Just monkeys have cages...and you dont."

Ginny pulled a few snack items onto her plate; a pumpkin pastie or two and a few rolls. Nothing too big, she just wanted ot snack a bit before lunch. Looking at the small wrist watch on her thin, clean wrist, she looked up at Neville and Dean.
"Do either of you know whether we have Quidditch today?" she chimed into the boy's conversation.
"I don't think so, but why would I know," Neville said, his cheeks turning a flushed colour as he looekd away from the redhead.
A pleasant smile on her face, Ginny nodded a bit. "Oh well. I don't think it starts this early," she added, mostly to herself though. Reaching for her goblet of pumpkin juice, Ginny brought it to her lips, her gaze drawing to Dean over the brim. He was shaking his head and she guessed it was to her question and he was just being nice, not correcting Neville outloud.

"Give me that book," the brunette growled, the words escaping her lips before she had even realized she was thinking them. She reached for the second book, the first now safely in her clutch. Why was he touching that? A frown crept across her face, and every second he spent holding that book pained her.
"Oh, cheap insults," she remarked, sarcasm dripping from every word, "that really hurts." She almost laughed at his first 'insult'. "Even you, Malfoy, should know better than trying to insult my intelligence." And indeed it was true; Hermione Granger was quite possibly the smartest girl, if not student, in the entirity of the seventh years. "And I'm to bet that any monkey is far smarter than the likes of you," she returned, although the comment did daunt her slightly, even if the term mudblood had little effect on her after seven years.

"Oh, well then let me give this back to you if I apparently cant decipher it." Draco replied to her. "Wait, lemme just see something for a second." And with that, he grasped pages from odd parts of the book, and promptly tore them out. And then those into smaller pieces. "Ah, there we go. Here mudblood. Your new textbook"
ooc: be back, dinner.

Well, we all knew Draco had a heartless streak, but tearing a book to shreds in front of Hermione Granger? A library book, nonetheless! Now he's just asking for it. Her fingers curled into fists, her eyes raging, brown swirling oh so angrily. Oh, if looks could kill. The seventh year Gryffindor was staring daggers, no doubt about that. With white knuckles she snatched the book from hi, trying not to let him see how much that simple act affected her. "Draco Malfoy, you disgust me," she merely stated, paying no attention to the falling shreds as they scattered the empty hallway.

"What, was that library book?" he asked. "Well, even better." He laughed, smirking. Was he heartless, no. Just doing what he knew how to best. And it was fun, and fun is something that all should experience. "You should try to lighten up Granger. Maybe then that pathetic excuse for a wizard named Weaselking will like you."

Hermione seethed. Such blatant disrespect. Her arms folded across her chest, fingers pushing a few loose strands from her face briefly before running her fingers along her clothed arm. The books, desecrated as they may be, were tucked safely pressed between her arms and chest, held tightly in place, both as a safety precaution and an angry grasp. How could he enjoy himself? The thought seemed so ludicrous to the girl, yet on some level she could see his twisted source of amusement. But her calmness boiled into rage again wth every word he spoke. "Malfoy, you speak as though you're better than everyone else!" she spat, the bit about Ron sending her over the top though she could not figure out why, "Well guess what? You're not! Newflash, Malfoy, you're not on top of the world. It doesn't revolve around you, however badly you wish it may. Stop being a bloody," and here she surprised herself and blamed her word choice on Ron, "child and grow up!"

"Watch yourself Granger," he said, sensing her anger. "And for your information," he started, walking towards and past her, stopping only to say one last thing to her. "Im more grown up then you'll ever know..." And with that he was off down the hallway, off into the Great Hall for some food. Finally. It seemed like such spats like that made him even hungry. "Crabbe! Goyle!" he called as he entered the hall, getting their attention, and also getting them to move for him, lettting him sit down and eat. "Filthy mudblood," he thought to himself as he bit into his food. "She thinks she is so good..."

"You only wish," was her only comment as he walked away, her voice low so that he probably did not hear her. After ghe had walked a good distance she too began towards the Great Hall, her stomach protesting more loudly than ever. And soon the deserted hallways thickened with people coming to and from lunch, the huge door swinging open, the scent of food wafting into the hallway. Her pace quickened, and soon the noise level rose to a roar, signifying her entrance into the giatn hall, four tables stretched out and candles hanging, suspended in midair. The ceiling showed a clear sky, though with none of the harsh and bitter chill tone would experience if they actually ventured outside. Ginny. The redhead was clearly visible, seated amongst a group of Gryffindors, enjoying her food. "Ginny!" the girl called out, making her through the crowd.

What was it about Hermione Granger that made Malfoy's blood boil? It could have been the fact that he knew she was smarter than him, even though he would never actually say that aloud. It could have been the fact that she was a mudblood. Or it could have been the both of them. But just the sound of her name, voice, anything, made his need to be himself rise, and when that happens, people get to hear him speak his mind. He heard the shrill call of her to one of her friends. Red hair. Weasly. "I should have known they were friends, both lame excuses for wizards..." he said to the Slytherin table, who erupted into laughter. "Oye! Granger! Stop trying to get your man through his sister!" he yelled. "Or are you trying to get his sister instead?"

"Hermione!" Ginny called in return, setting her goblet down and whiping her mouth with the cloth napkin that had been placed over her lap. Upon hearing Malfoy's remark, she rose to her feet, bruhsing the crumbs form the pumpkin pastie from her robes. "Excuse me," she siad to Hermione, giving her a warm smile as she headed towards Malfoy.
She cleared her throat, just staring at him with a coy smile, just standing there, hands folded infront of her. "Y'know Malfoy, i think I speak for basically everyone when I say that we don't care about your 'insults'. They don't hurt and you're just annoying. SO i suggest that you just get a clue and start leaving us alone. It's getting old, kinda like yourself. I'm starting to see a few little grey hairs.." she said, curling one side of her lips in a thoughtful look, blinking as she reached up and pulled a few strands of his sheer blonde hair. "There, all better." she said, same sheepish grin on her lightly freckled face as she patted his cheek gently; like a mother or relative would do to their little boy.
She nodded politely and walked away, returning to her spot near Hermione. "So, how's your day been?" she asked her friend as she took a sip form her pumpkin juice again.

Hermione trailed just behind her younger friend, knowing that this would only mean trouble. That girl had a fiery side, after all. However her comment left even Hermione floored. She had the guts to actually treat Malfoy like the child he was?! Laughter rose up around from those who were watching, and Hermione managed a smirk at the boy.

"Dont touch me, you waste of space," Malfoy said, turning way from the preppy Gryffindors. "Bloody morons, the whole lot of 'em," he said to Crabbe and Goyle, sitting back down and sulking. They may have gotten the best of him this time, but those two were going down.

Ginny ognored the last few comments Malfoy had shot at them; guessing he'd gotten enough peice of her for now. But if he started up again...
Shaking the bloody Slytherin from her mind, she turned back to Hermione with a cheeky grin, "Good?" she asked. "If that boy gives you any more trouble, you know who to come to," Ginny said, giving her a light nudge in the side, giggling lightly.
